Stefan Kimmel is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of CBD. Stefan is driving CBD’s service excellence program, where he leverages digital technologies to relentlessly enhance customer experience while increasing process efficiency. Under his leadership, CBD is augmenting its digital channels, is implementing next generation IT infrastructure and driving an end-to-end customer journey enhancement initiative. Since he joined, CBD has gone live with several FinTech partnership supplementing CBD’s product offering. Since his joining CBD has received several accolades such as Best Mobile Banking App UAE, Best Digital Transformation, Best Product Launch for the Digi Account, Most Innovative Project Award for Fintech Partnerships and Payments Excellence Award. Prior to joining CBD, Stefan has gathered over 20 years of experience in digital transformation, technology management and service excellence in executive roles with a range of globally leading organizations including BCG, Oliver Wyman, IBM and PwC.
